Y6 – Reading Records
Although many Year 6 children are independent readers, it is still important for them to complete their reading records. We encourage children to complete the record and activities within. In class we will be doing lots of reading comprehension based work and will check up on the reading records at least weekly. Therefore, it is important that they are up to date to avoid being kept in at break and lunch time.
We have a whole host of books in the Key Stage Two library as well as magazines and newspapers and even a Year 6 class set of books so there’s always plenty to choose from!
