P.E. – Visits And Visitors

Manor Road is very lucky to have fantastic links with the Chorley School Sports Partnership (C.S.S.P.).

Here is a little bit of information about Chorley School Sports Partnership.

Chorley School Sports Partnership are passionate, experienced and qualified practitioners, dedicated to delivering the best possible service to young people and schools.

Chorley School Sports Partnership is a ‘not for profit’ organisation that has continued through the support of member schools building on the success of the national S.S.C.O. and School Sport Partnership model and partly funded through Sport England ‘School Games’ Programme.

The Chorley School Sports Partnership team work hard to retain high quality P.E. and sport to ultimately increase participation at all levels. Our aim is to provide a range of exciting sporting opportunities for young people to inspire them to be more physically active and lead a healthier lifestyle.

For the majority of the time, Mrs Rothwell – an experienced P.E. teacher – comes into school to aid with the professional development of the existing Class Teachers. Click here to meet the team.

During the second-half of the Autumn Term and first-half of the Spring Term, we have Pearl Williams (from CSSP) who helps us to prepare for a dance competition which is later on in the academic year. She also works with some Class Teachers to deliver dance sessions.
