Music – Visits And Visitors

At Manor Road, we have several visitors who come into school to teach children to learn a musical instrument:

• Carmel Galea comes in to teach guitar.
• Martin Roscoe comes in to teach drums and keyboard.
  

We recently (in the Autumn term of this academic year) had a course of brass lessons from Lancashire Music Service. Mr Crane delivered these brass lessons to Year 4 as a whole class, teaching a variety of brass instruments to create a brass band: cornets, trombones, trumpets and baritones.
